CHILD ABUSE
Any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker, which results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Violent or aggressive behavior within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner.
ELDER ABUSE
Any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker, which results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING
The use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.
RUNAWAY
To leave home quickly in order to avoid or escape something.
SEXUAL ASSAULT
An act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will.
STALKING
A pattern of unwanted behavior that involves monitoring, harassing, repeatedly contacting or following another person.
SUICIDE
Death caused by injuring oneself with the intent to die. A suicide attempt is when someone harms themselves with any intent to end their life, but they do not die as a result of their actions.
TEEN DATING VIOLENCE
Includes physical, psychological or sexual abuse; harassment; or stalking of any person ages 12 to 18 in the context of a past or present romantic or consensual relationship.
